Dr. Thomas Hao grew up in Orange County, California and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2004.

He has completed 3 years of orthodontic residency at University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he obtained his specialty certificate as well as a Masters in Oral Sciences.

Dr. Hao is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of several professional organizations including: American Association of Orthodontists, Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. He attends continuing education courses regularly and incorporates modern evidence-based approaches for patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

Dr. Hao loves working with patients of all ages and is committed to obtaining the best esthetic smiles for all our patients. In his spare time – he enjoys spending time with his wife and his hobbies include fishing, hiking, camping, jogging, and surfing.
